Thomma Lyn Grindstaff graduated with honors from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's Degree in English and worked at her alma mater for 13 years before becoming a full-time novelist.

A native East Tennessean, Thomma lives with her husband and four spoiled cats in the mountains of Appalachia where she loves to hike. She also has a passion for music, and is a classically trained pianist who has written approximately 50 songs and instrumental pieces. Her novel, MIRROR BLUE, was released here in May of 2009.
